METHODS OF EVALUATION & COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
Assessment will consist of quizzes, exams, and assignments. Students must pass the course with at least 60%.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This course introduces HSE hazards related to high risk operation, equipment and materials in the workplace like crane, warehousing, welding and cutting, hazardous substances and so on and their related controls.

This is a single course and by itself does not lead to any career path
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 graduate or mature student status (British Columbia 19 years or older)
• Meet minimum English language proficiency requirements.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this program the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to

- Identify warehousing hazards and controls
- Identify preparing and serving food hazards and controls (food safety)
- Identify crane lifting hazards and controls
- Identify welding cutting hazards and controls
- Identify confined space hazards and controls
- Identify confined space hazards and controls
- Identify hazardous substances and controls
- Identify excavation hazards and controls
- Identify radiation hazards and controls
