What was your overall experience attending ITD Canada?
“I first heard about ITD Canada through my fiancé who was studying in the Hospitality Management program. I was looking for the best education with an affordable tuition in the Business Administration field. I went to many schools, public and private, but ITD Canada was the best option! Besides the program outline which included all the subjects I was looking for (Marketing, Administration, Accounting etc.), ITD Canada offers a monthly payment plan and as an international student, it made all the difference.”
Describe how your instructors and/or staff helped you.
“The registration process was simple and fast. I had the option to proof my level of English with ITD Canada’s online English Test. It was very helpful because IELTS or any other certificate would be expensive. Since day one I received all the support I needed. During my course ITD Canada was relocated to a new, bigger and better campus in order to accommodate the growing number of students. All my instructors were qualified and were always bringing real life examples to class.
You participated in the Co-op program, describe your position.
“Once I finished my studies, ITD Canada had a position available for Marketing/Recruiter. As I studied marketing in my program as a student, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity. I was responsible for promoting ITD Canada to international students, focusing on the South American market. Once the student enrolled, I was also responsible for issuing all official documents, applying what I learned in class to my work.
Describe your job once you graduated.
“I was successful in my Co-op program and was hired as a Registrar. I am responsible for issuing enrollment agreements, maintaining accuracy with student records, scheduling, credit transfers and updating program outlines following the college’s policies. Because of my time as a student at ITD Canada I now have the ability to understand student’s concerns with empathy and explain college procedures and policies in a way they understand.”
